Jesse Metcalfe hospitalized after 40-foot fall from balcony

Desperate Housewives actor Jesse Metcalfe somehow fell from a balcony 40 feet to the ground at an afterparty for the World Music Awards in Monaco on Sunday. Jesse has been known to stir up trouble but no one is yet saying if he was inebrated, clumsy or was pushed. A spokesperson for Jesse confirmed the news and called it “a nasty accident.” The rep confirmed to Heatworld.com that Jesse fell about 40ft, down two floors and was unconscious, as he was taken to the hospital. But he flew back to London yesterday, and was taken to hospital and they kept him in overnight. He’s having an MRI scan this afternoon, and we hope he will be given the green light today to come home.” Miraculously, Jesse escaped his fall without any broken bones. We wish him a speedy recovery!

No broken bones after falling 40 feet? I’m thinking copious amounts of alcohol must have been involved. He’s lucky, that’s for sure.
