Britney Spears heads home for the holidays with her sons in tow

Fresh off the high of getting back on stage to perform with Madonna, Britney Spears hopped on a flight to Kentwood, Louisiana Friday morning with her boys 3-year-old Sean Preston and 2-year-old Jayden James in tow to get a jump on a little holiday-season togetherness with the rest of the Spears clan. This is the first time she’s been allowed to leave California with the boys since Kevin Federline was awarded full custody. The group took off from Van Nuys Airport in a private plane with ever-present dad Jamie according to OK! magazine, which first reported the cross-country venture. This trip has been months in the making. One family insider said in June that Britney was hoping to get all the Spears family together as soon as the court would allow it. Britney can now have some quiet family time away from the hustle and bustle of Hollywood before the release of her new album, Circus, on her 27th birthday (Dec. 2).
