Suspect in Hudson murders could be released on Monday?
Right now William Balfour, is the only murder ‘suspect’ the Chicago police have identified in connection to the Hudson family slayings. Balfour refused a polygraph and reportedly “stopped cooperating” with detectives, which hasn’t helped his cause. He is also a former convict has been out on parole since May 2006, after serving seven years in Illinois state prison for attempted murder, vehicular hijacking and possession of a stolen vehicle. However Balfour has NOT been charged with the three murders, and until now the authorities have kept him in jail on parole violation charges. But on Monday Balfour has a meeting with the Illinois parole board regarding the parole violation charges that he’s been slapped with. If there’s insufficient proof of parole violations, he’ll be released. That is unless the police have enough evidence to charge him with the Hudson triple murders. All things considered it’s kind of strange that Balfour hasn’t been charged yet!
