Interested in Hawkeye Pierce “M*A*S*H memorabilia?

Actor Alan Alda, who famously played Hawkeye Pierce on “M*A*S*H,” is doing a nice deed for charity and the  military. Alda is auctioning off the only two trinkets of memorabilia he took from the TV set Twenty-five years ago: the dog tags and combat boots he wore throughout the show’s 11-year run.

Alda is offering them up for a good cause as part of the NY Comedy Festival’s “Stand Up for Heroes” event benefiting the Bob Woodruff Foundation. The bidding starts today at charityfolks.org.
