Gun found Hudson suspect refuses polygraph test
There’s been a new development in the murders of Jennifer Hudson’s mother, brother and nephew.
On Wednesday, police sent 100 personnel to search the area where 7-year-old Julian King’s body was found.
Police found a handgun, thought to be a .45 caliber in an abandoned lot, about a block away from the SUV where the boys body was discovered, according to the Chicago Sun-Times. Officials believe the gun they found was used in all three murders.
Meanwhile the primary suspect in the murders William Balfour told cops he had a “good relationship” with the Hudson family, but when they asked him to take a polygraph, refused and “stopped cooperating” with detectives. Balfour still hasn’t been charged, but police are still focused on him as the possible killer. Balfour a former convict has been out on parole since May 2006, after serving seven years in Illinois state prison for attempted murder, vehicular hijacking and possession of a stolen vehicle.
