The wheels of justice are more like a revolving door for Amy Winehouse

Many people are sick of hearing of Amy Winehouse’s foolish drug fueled antics, myself included. Hence my hesitation to cover this story, but what I am really sick of, is watching no one do anything about her, particularly the police. After many displays of public intoxication, being filmed smoking crack, and perpetrating physical assaults against innocent bystanders this strung-out lunatic is still walking around free. Now word comes that the police are after her again. This time for an assault back in September, when Winehouse reportedly attacked some women at a fancy London charity event. Well, she was finally scheduled to appear at a West London police station to answer questions for investigators. But of course Winehouse didn’t bother to show up.  And why should she fear the police, who have shown no teeth with her for her previous brushes with the law. A friend who spoke out about Winehouse’s police appointment tells the UK Sun, “She’s doing so many drugs she is completely out of it. It’s hardly surprising she missed the interview.” Authorities told her people that they’d reschedule, but if she doesn’t show up, she will be arrested… and then probably given a stern talking to before being released again.
