Here are newly released photos showing Heath Ledger in the film role he never completed.
Heath died of an overdose of prescription medicine halfway through filming The Imaginarium Of Doctor Parnassus in January.
The 28-year-old’s death temporarily stopped work on the film, but it has now been completed and is due out next year.

Following his death Johnny Depp, Jude Law and Colin Farrell all stepped in to fill his role for the remainder of the film, playing different incarnations of Ledger’s character. The mega star acting trio played different versions of Heath’s character in the $30 million fantasy-adventure film. Introducing the trio of actors was made possible because the film, subject matter deals with a traveling theater troupe, who via a deal with the Devil, takes audience members through a magical mirror to explore their imaginations. Because Heath’s ‘out of date will’ left all of his money to his father at the time of his death, Jude, Johnny, and Colin wanted to insure his daughter Matilda was taken care of, so they’ve all donated their paychecks from the film to her. Since then assurances have been made that Matilda will indeed be the recipiant of her fathers’ inheritance.
Gilliam, who previously worked with Ledger on The Brothers Grimm, has retained the footage shot of the late actor. The photos are the first official shots to be released.
The movie’s official site is coming soon

There was a very little known about this movie since Hetah Ledger died, but I found The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus is about a salesman who sells his daughter to the devil for superpowers. It says way more on there but that’s the gist of it. This movie sounds like it is going to be great! Especially with Depp and Ferrel in it.
I’ve been waiting for this movie ever since I heard Jude was in it. I like the other guys, too, but Jude is my favorite!
