Well it’s time for some gossip comic relief. My favorite tabloid is reporting Jennifer Aniston has asked John Mayer to marry her. How exciting! Aniston’s public perception as desperate to marry again and have babies may very well be true, but it kind of gets overplayed in the media quite a bit. Before we talk more about this, check out the August cover of Star Magazine on the top left. It was published a week before John and Jen broke up, and the story line was they were planning on having or at least conceiving a baby very soon. It’s pretty bad they couldn’t pull back that issue as it hit the grocery stores just as the break up was made public.

Now after Jen and John have seemingly rekindled the romance, undaunted we now have the Nov. 3 issue of Star Magazine, (on sale now), top right, announcing Aniston has made her move and asked Mayer to marry her! The story line reads:

“After a barrage of romantic e-mails from him, “she said that she’d only take him back if they got married, and he agreed,” says a source. “They both know this is it. She wants to settle down, and finally, so does he. They’ve even talked about having a family, and John said that he couldn’t imagine doing it with anyone but her.”

Hopefully Jen and John don’t break up again before this latest addition hits the Grocery stores. Anyway it just goes to show, these story lines never get old. They can be used again and again!
