Britney Spears free and clear while Lindsay Lohan being sued again
The legal revolving doors continue to spin for a couple of well known celebrities. Britney Spears seems to be free and clear, while Lindsay Lohan may have some new problems.
As you know Britney Spears was on trial for driving without a valid California license. A mistrial was declared today after the jury was hopelessly deadlocked for two days or so at 10-2, in favor of not guilty. The judge in the trial has dismissed the criminal charge against Britney who never personally appeared at the trial. The prosecutor wasn’t happy saying he was “troubled by the outside impressions that were brought into the courtroom.” He shouldn’t be happy. What a waste of the tax payers money again!
Meanwhile three guys say Lindsay Lohan held them hostage during an alleged alcohol-fueled drive, and have sued over the incident (naturally). The incident occurred In July, 2007 after a party in Malibu. 
The three men claim an intoxicated Lindsay hijacked a car in which they were passengers and began an insane joy ride, “endangering all of their lives.” In the lawsuit, filed in L.A. County Superior Court, the men claim Lindsay was “hostile,” declaring she “didn’t care about the risk of death” and saying “she was a celebrity…she could do whatever she wants.”
The suit claims she blew red lights, eventually ending up at the Santa Monica Police Department where she was arrested for DUI, her second DUI bust in less than 90 days. Cops say they also found cocaine. Lohan pleaded guilty to being under the influence of cocaine and no contest to reckless driving and driving with a blood alcohol level of .08 or higher. She eventually served one day in jail. The suit seeks unspecified compensatory and punitive damages.
Her lawyer, Ed McPherson, told TMZ the suit is “absurd,” adding, “These guys had the night of their lives, playing with the radio and leaving the vehicle at one point and getting back in.” Perhaps so but he just verified they were in the car. Meanwhile back in July, one of the men told TMZ, “It was pretty much the was worst night of my whole summer.”
With Hollywood going crazy with these women who do think that they are so much better than the law,are actually insane! Now,I do think that the driving with out a valid license for Brittney Spears was really one that took the cake. Where I live,you are fined for such,but you don’t have a trial,nor a jury to decide your fate! A judge does that and yes,you do have to be there! I do have to ask one thing on this. Is California law that fucking retarded for famous people? What the hell happen to having a normal court case? I do think that the courts should repay the citizens of the money that they was so robbed from! Miss Spears was a victim of plain fucking stupidity from something so simple to figure out that she should have been found guity on!
