Sarah Palin Appears On SNL With Tina Fey, Alec Baldwin And Wahlberg (VIDEO)
Sarah Palin took a break from the campaign trail to appear on “Saturday Night Live” this weekend in two skits, where she watched Tina Fey (as Sarah Palin). Alec Baldwin and Mark Wahlberg also made appearances in the opening sketch. Watching backstage as Fey did another dead-on impersonation — this time holding a press conference — Palin told Lorne Michaels, executive producer of SNL, “I just didn’t think it was a realistic depiction of the way my press conferences would have gone.”
Mark Walhberg joined them, looking for Andy Samberg to “bust his head open” after a sketch aired last week, in which Samberg played Walhberg talking to animals. “He didn’t like the impression we did of him on the show,” Lorne explained to Gov. Palin.
“Tell me about it,” Palin answered back with a smile. Alec Baldwin, appeared next and pretended to believe Palin was really “Tina Fey.”
Later in the show (second video), Palin popped up during Weekend Update, dancing in her seat to an Alaskan rap song.
