Alex Rodriguez to buy $80 million penthouse near Madonna so they can play house together?

Even as Madonna and Guy Ritchie are still hammering out details of their divorce, there is ongoing speculation that Alex Rodriguez will soon be in the picture.

The UK Daily Mail claims Madge and A-Rod plan to go public with their relationship within the next few months. Supposedly A-Rod is looking to buy a $80 million Central Park West penthouse two blocks from Madge’s Manhattan digs. On top of that a source tells the tabloid, that the 50-year-old Madonna wants to produce a baby with the 33-year-old baseball star. The source said, “She thinks he’s physically a great specimen. And if she is going to have another child, he would be the ideal man to bring one to her.

Madonna’s also supposedly putting A-Rod through a battery of tests to make sure he is the one for her, after her most recent failed marriage. She makes sure that he calls when he says he will and shares the same views on money as her. Just to make sure he’s paying attention to her at all times, she quizzed him on what outfits she wore on their first three meetings together. She tested him on his knowledge of Kabbalah. He’s also been made to promise her that he will write a sports-themed Kabbalah book for young boys. Madonna has already brought out a similar range of books for girls. And he plans to go on a spiritual trip with her to Malawi.

Supposedly the next step in the relationship is Madonna will throw a ‘Kabbalah weekend’ to introduce Rodriguez to her children soon.
