David Duchovny and Tea Leoni announce separation

When David Duchovny entered rehab for the treatment of sex addiction,in August, one had to believe his marriage might be in turmoil. Duchovny recently left rehab, but now comes word that he and wife Téa Leoni have been separated for some time. The separation statement was released by the couples reps Annett Wolf and Evelyn Karamanos:
“In light of continuous speculation over the lives and marriage of Tea Leoni and David Duchovny, the couple has confirmed that they have in fact been separated for several months. The couple had hoped to keep this separation private for the sake of their children.”
Duchovny, 48, has been married to fellow actor Leoni since 1997. They have two children, daughter Madelaine West, 9, and son Kyd, 6. Earlier this month right after his release from rehab, Duchnovny was spotted with Leoni at the Czech Street Festival in Manhattan giving some hope the couple were still together. A statement like this doesn’t look good but maybe they can still salvage the marriage.
