Movie News Casting Rumors: Josh Brolin - Ryan Gosling being lined up for latest DC Comics superheroes

Hollywood Elsewhere claims a deal is sealed for Josh Brolin to star in Jonah Hex. Jonah Hex is a western comic book anti-hero created by writer John Albano and artist Tony DeZuniga and published by DC Comics. Hex is a middle-aged bounty hunter and gunslinger (born in 1838, dies in 1904) with a heavily scarred face whose quest in the film is tracking down a voodoo practitioner and. The Sci-Fi Gunslinger flick is based on the graphic novel and directed by Mark Neveldine and Brian Taylor (Crank, Game) and to be funded and released by Warner Bros. DC Comics is producing along with Mad Chance.
Green Lantern casting update

The movie adaption of DC Comics franchise Green Lantern is said to be moving along and that rehearsals should start in February for a Spring 2009 shoot. Earlier, casting rumors for the superhero were Seth Green, Justin Long, and David Boreanaz. The Mac Dude? That’s funny!
The Latino review has heard Ryan Gosling is who Warner Brothers wants for Green Lantern/Hal Jordan. Hal Jordan is a fictional character, a DC Comics superhero. He is the second Green Lantern and arguably the most famous hero to bear that name.
