Hugh Hefner acknowledges being sad and shocked that Holly Madison dumped him

Playboy founder Hugh Hefner has reportedly expressed being shocked and saddened after being dumped by his main girlfriend Holly Madison. Madison broke the news or more like blurted it out casually of ending the relationship during a video interview with celebrity website TMZ.com.
Hefner previously denied the pair had broken up, but now concedes the relationship is over.He says:
“If Holly says it’s over, I guess it’s over. She’s still here in the house. Until a few days ago, we were still sharing the same bed.
Hefner was obviously caught off guard by the breakup saying:
Quite frankly, we thought when the time came, we would make a combined statement and we expected that combined statement would be somewhere in the weeks and months ahead.”
But he acknowledges marriage and children was a big issue but says she learned of his reluctance to commit six months ago. He adds:
“The fact that she was depressed after that, I didn’t know at all. That was a revelation in the last days and weeks.”
A little oblivious there Hef?
Hefner says he’s sad but the 83-year-old says there a line of girls ready to warm his bed:
There’s been moments that I’ve been down in the dumps about all this, and (personal assistant) Mary (O’Connor) told me to cheer up and pointed out that there are girls lined up outside the front gate. At my age, that’s hard to believe, but it seems to be true. It’s a big house. And I’m not going to live alone. I’m definitely not going to live alone.”
I guess that pretty much also confirms Bridget and Kendra are not sharing his bed! And what the Girls Next Door reality TV show? The show is going to continue with a sixth season, but Kendra is also moving out into her own place by the end of the year. No word on Bridget’s status, though she is currently out of the mansion and in Europe filming for the Travel Channel’s new series called Bridget’s Beaches.
Hef’s already auditioning new girlfriends. He’s already been spotted out with Playmate twins Karissa and Kristina Shannon, who already live in the mansion, though are not yet “official girlfriends.” In addition to the twins, a college senior from Georgia named Amy Leigh Andrews is also vying for a girlfriend position.
