Lindsay Lohan wants to adopt in the future

In the November issue of Marie Claire (via NYDN), Lindsay Lohan tells the magazine that she wants to adopt a baby of some sort in the future.
Though Lohan has had her fair share of family drama, she believes her own experience would make her that much more qualified as a mom.
Lohan said, “At some point … I want to adopt a kid … A child in need or a newborn from another country. I’m not sure yet.”
Lohan also goes so far as to say in the interview that she has never been happier in her relationship with DJ Samantha Ronson, perhaps ending the months of speculation and gossip. To me the relationship was obvious for some time, but what strikes me about this baby disclosure is perhaps an indication toward staying in a lesbian relationship long term?
