Dan Aykroyd’s strange ‘Crystal Head Vodka’ Ad also plugging ‘Ghostbusters 3′?
Posted on October 4th, 2008 by SusanThis is a really bizzare informercial made by Dan Aykroyd for Crystal Head Vodka. In it Aykroyd starts with this straight-faced rambling on about aliens, ghosts, and mystical powers. The Ghostbusters star makes a point of referencing “ectoplasm” early in the spot, which could be some kind of ploy related to the planned Ghostbusters 3 feature. After a few minutes (the video is 8 minutes total) of supernatural rambling the comedian then continues an earnest dead-panned pitch for Crystal Head Vodka. It’s really pretty strange stuff. I hope he was payed well.
