House Peters Jr., the original Mr. Clean, passed away yesterday in Los Angeles at the age of 92. Peters died of pneumonia at the Motion Picture and Television Fund Hospital in Los Angeles, according to his son, Jon Peters.

House starred as the first real-life Mr. Clean in commercials that ran in the late 1950s to the early 1960s. He also did a bunch of stuff including episodes of “Perry Mason,” “Lassie,” “The Twilight Zone” and “Gunsmoke.” Today House would just a normal looking dude, but back in the day being a muscular man with a bald head, a hoop earring, he must have really stood out.

Rest in peace, House. Heaven will be extra clean today!!
