Ashley Olsen and Mary-Kate Olsen in lifestyle and fashion business clash

Ashley Olsen and Mary-Kate Olsen, 22, are said to be growing (further) apart over their fashion business because of their differing lifestyles and priorities. The Identical twins created two clothing lines, a couture collection called The Row and a less expensive line called Elizabeth and James. The story is that, Ashley sees herself as a businesswoman, and apparently is ready for the day-to-day effort it takes to be successful but her sister, not so much so.
A friend tells InTouch Magazine: “Ashley really wants to be a respected businesswoman and be taken seriously. “MK does too, but she hasn’t been willing to give up her lifestyle and act like an adult for their job.”
Yeah we often hear of MK’s party hard lifestyle too. So Ashley is now allegedly trying to distance her sister from the couture line. She reportedly decided MK should not be involved with The Row and has asked her to step back from her current responsibilities “until she has her personal life together.”
Sounds permanent to us! “It’s tough because The Row was so much of Mary-Kate’s idea. Mary-Kate has a unique fashion sense,” notes the insider. MK is left to focus the more affordable line, Elizabeth and James.
