Actor Brad Garrett tries to keep new girlfriend secret for good reason

Former co-star of “Everybody Loves Raymond,” Brad Garrett allegedly has a secret girlfriend who is a divorcée and was a major figure in the Anthony Pellicano case, NY Post sources say. He and the woman now believed to be Lisa Gores have been seen in New York and Los Angeles since March. Garrett, who divorced his wife Jill Diven last year, has tried to keep his new romance under wraps anyway, because he’s about to debut an online dating show. The Web-site reality show, “Dating Brad Garrett,” produced by Sony TV, premieres soon on Crackle, YouTube and Hulu, is debuting this month, on which he’ll date women he finds online.
When Garrett was recently seen with the woman, a NY Post photographer tried to get their picture, when the 6-foot-8½ actor sprayed him with water and threatened to “pop” him. Only after examining the photo did the newspaper discover the mystery woman was likely Lisa Gores, a petite ash-blonde, who was forced to testify in the Pellicano trial after her ex-husband, leveraged-buyout king Alec Gores, used the PI to wiretap her.
The eight-year Gores’marriage went sour when Alec suspected Lisa was cheating with his wealthier brother, Tom, who runs Platinum Equity. During their bitter split, Alec paid Pellicano $50,000, loaned him another $50,000 and treated his family to a Hawaiian vacation, according to court papers.
In return, Pellicano taped Lisa’s private conversations with Tom. Pellicano, convicted in August of wiretapping, faces up to 10 years in prison and $500,000 in fines.

Well, now that everyone knows that Lisa Gores is indeed Brad Garrett’s girlfriend, I thought it would be funny to expose Brad’s absurd comment that he made on Howard Stern. When asked about his girlfriend, Brad said, “Oh, and she’s smart. She’s really smart.” I wanted to call Howard, but I was listening to the replay on Sirius. If Lisa Gores is so smart, how come Lisa Gores has no job? How come Lisa Gores lives off of the money that her ex has given her while she shops, beautifies, and tries to set a good example for her kids? Hmmm. Maybe she is “really smart.”
