The real reason Jennifer Lopez dropped out of ‘Project Runway’ gig?

Here’s a little celebrity social drama for you. Shortly before competing in the Nautica Malibu Triathlon on Sunday Jennifer Lopez suddenly dropped out a guest role as a celebrity judge for the season finale of Project Runway September 12th, because of a so called “foot injury.”
It seemed a bit weird at the time because, J. Lo’s trainer who also accompanied her for the race said this past weekend that she had NOT injured herself. And after running, biking, and swimming for 2 hours and 23 minutes it doesn’t sound like an injury that would prevent someone from judging a fashion contest? Right after the triathlon, Jenny and Marc then got on a plane, and flew cross country to NYC, where J. Lo threw her hubby a 40th birthday party at the Bowery Hotel.
Guests by the way included Leah Remini, Dita Von Teese, Kimora, Dijmon Honsou, Brooke Shields, Allegra and Donatella Versace.
Meanwhile Heidi Klum was said to be furious about being left high and dry without a big name judge at the last minute for her show. Tim Gunn ended up filling in. And it probably comes as no surprise that Heidi and husband Seal who were reportedly invited to Marc’s 40th birthday party, decided not to attend.
Perhaps Heidi also heard the current rumor for why J. Lo abruptly pulled out of the Project Runway gig? Apparenly Lopez was denied a role in an upcoming Weinstein movie she wanted, a day before she was to judge for the same Weinstein Company that produces the Heidi Klum hosted TV show.
J. Lo’s, publicist reacting to the new rumor,is saying that she really did get injured.
Lopez’s rep, Leslie Sloane, explained that: “(Lopez) pulled out (of “Runway”) because she had an injury and had to have it rehabbed so she could compete (in the triathlon),” adding, “(Lopez) has no issues with Harvey (Weinstein).”
Perhaps but it sounds like Heidi Klum might have an issue with J. Lo now.
