Jennifer Lopez completes first Triathlon along with Matthew McConaughey

Jennifer Lopez competed in her fist race, in the Nautica Malibu Triathlon today (Sunday), finishing the race in a very respectable 2 hours, 23 minutes and 28 seconds. Wearing forest green Juicy sweats when she arrived Sunday morning, the singer-actress changed quickly into her wetsuit before the swim portion as Peterson and a bodyguard held up towels to shield her from the paparazzi. Also watching: Her fans, who offered their love.
Matthew McConaughey, also competed in the triathlon held at Zuma Beach. Camila Alves spent some of the race time in the VIP area, holding son Levi in a baby bjorn.
Lopez was cheered on from the sidelines by husband Marc Anthony, who escorted her to a VIP area (naturally) with his arm securely around her after she crossed the finish line, exhausted, but with her fists pumped in victory. And Lopez was accompanied along the way by her trainer Gunnar Peterson, who was not racing himself, but was there to help out. In the VIP area, Lopez met up with McConaughey, former Wedding Planner costars with a big hug.
The triathlon helped raise nearly $1 million for the Pediatric Cancer Research Program at Childrens Hospital in Los Angeles. J.Lo helped raise $125,000 on her own for the event, which was presented by Toyota.
The Bachelor’s Andy Baldwin won the celebrity bragging rights, if not a rose, with his time. Other stars who competed were Felicity Huffman, Jon Cryer, Monique Coleman, Mark-Paul Gosselaar, William H. Macy, John Hamm, Scott Foley and Anna Kournikova.
