Amy Winehouse’s latest concert no-show causes threats of legal action

Headliner Amy Winehouse pulled out of the three-day Rock En Seine festival Friday just hours before it started. Winehouse failed to make the short trip to the Paris venue, where the line-up included the Raconteurs, The Streets and Kate Nash. The 24-year-old singer was said to have been too stoned taken ill at her London home.
The organizers of the music concert are now threatening legal action, after they were given just two hours notice from Winehouse. Rock En Seine said there was “no explanation of the exact reasons for her absence”.
A statement on the Rock En Seine website said Winehouse’s appearance had to be scrapped at the “last minute”.
The statement added: “We are very sorry about this situation and share the disappointment of the festival-goers.”
Winehouse is next due to be late or pull a no-show for her scheduled gig at the Bestival festival on the Isle of Wight next Saturday.
