Mackenzie Phillips arrested for drug possesion

Mackenzie Phillips has been arrested at LAX for possessing heroin and cocaine, according to TMZ. Phillips was being screened by TSA this morning, when some baggies and balloons believed to contain heroin and cocaine were recovered. Mackenzie has been in rehab several times for drug and alcohol addiction.
As you probably already know Mackenzie is the daughter of The Mamas and the Papas lead singer, John Phillips, and his first wife, Susan Adams. At one time she was, the stepdaughter of singer and actress Michelle Phillips. Mackenzie is the half-sister of actress Bijou Phillips and singer Chynna Phillips. Mackenzie became known for her for her role in the 1973 hit movie American Graffiti, and famous for playing Julie Cooper on the TV series “One Day at a Time.
