Victoria’s Secret model Alessandra Ambrosio delivers a girl

Victoria’s Secret model Alessandra Ambrosio and her boyfriend, Jamie Mazur welcomed a baby girl on Sunday in Brazil. Anja Louise Ambrosio Mazur was born on Sunday Aug 24 at 7:32 p.m., and weighed in at 6.3 lbs. Mother and baby are both doing great!

Alessandra has kept a tight lid on her pregnancy. It was only confirmed in March after heavy speculation by the press that she was even pregnant

Alessandra and Jamie a California businessman, have been dating since 2005, and this is their first child.

The supermodel tells People Magazine, that motherhood is going smoothly so far:

“She hasn’t cried once except for a second when they pulled her out. We have now felt a new kind of love and joy that we never knew existed.”

Alessandra, who continued modeling during her pregnancy, plans to be back at work in time for November’s Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show. ”

Anja Louise, won’t fetch millions, but it’s being reported the family is trying to cut a deal with the entertainment weeklies for photos. As is the custom these days, Ambrosio will donate some proceeds to the Multiple Sclerosis Children’s Fund.
