The Ryan Seacrest empire grows!

Bloggers often call Dina Lohan, ‘White Operah,’ but I think there’s a better fit for the title. Nikki Finke reports, Ryan Seacrest has just signed a new multiyear deal with Comcast Entertainment Group, which owns the E! channel. The new deal expands Seacrest’s TV and New Media production empire across the cable giant’s networks. Seacrest previously had distribution access to just E! and The Style Network, but he can now program for G4, Versus, Golf Channel, exercise TV, FEARnet, Comcast Sportsnet and PBS Kids Sprout. The agreement gives Comcast first-look rights to all of Seacrest’s projects through August 2011. The new contract also includes a new advertising relationship between E! and Seacrest’s radio properties, which include the syndicated American Top 40 and the Los Angeles-based On-Air With Ryan Seacrest.
