Christina Applegate baby rumor capitalizing on her misfortune?

Star Magazine claims Christina Applegate is going to put off treatment for breast cancer so she can have a baby! Christina was diagnosed with an early form of breast cancer. Benefiting from early detection through a doctor ordered MRI, the cancer is said to be not life threatening. Christina’s mother is a breast cancer survivor.
Anyway it seems the tabloid picked up on the fact that: ‘Christina told an interviewer that she didn’t want to wait until her mid-forties to have a baby, and that her biological clock was ticking.’
They say that Christina who is 36, has therefore decided to put off her chemotherapy until after giving birth. Supposedly the Samantha Who? star plans on making a baby with musician Martyn Lenoble, whom she’s been dating for a few months. Then according to the tabloid, Christina will start the treatment after giving birth so she doesn’t expose her body to chemotherapy or radiation. Nice sentimental story but is it real?
I have got nothing against Star Magazine, but I think they have really crossed the line this time. I think this story defies logic and believability. But beyond that if they did make this story up, it’s in such bad taste. Christina has enough to deal with right now then denying stories like this.
