Christian Bale likely to evade assault charges

Batman star Christian Bale likely won’t face charges over claims he assaulted his mother and sister, according to reports. Bale was arrested in London last month over accusations he pushed his estranged mother and sister at the city’s Dorchester Hotel before the British premiere of The Dark Knight.
The 34-year-old actor was questioned by U.K. police over the incident and was subsequently released on bail. According to The UK Sun newspaper the British Crown Prosecution Service lawyers have advised police to caution the actor - meaning he will not face charges. Bale will have to admit guilt to get a caution when he answers bail next month. Authorities can still charge him if he refuses. He currently denies the allegations.
