Character actor Shelley Malil arrested in vicious stabbing

(Celebrity News) – Actor Shelley Malil who played a co-worker in an electronics store to lead, Steve Carrell, in “The 40 Year Old Virgin” has just been arrested for allegedly viciously stabbing his ex-girlfriend. Malil gained national attention by playing “Chad,” one of the Budweiser “What are you doing?!”/”Wassup?!” guys.

The desi actor allegedly went to the women’s home near San Diego yesterday and attacked her. Police say he chased her inside and outside the house while her two children watched, stabbing her as many as 20 times. A neighbor came to the rescue and jumped the attacker, but the man escaped. Malil was later arrested at an Amtrak station in San Diego. The identity and condition of the victim is unknown at this time.
