Ready for some good fiction? Lynne Spears book to launch!

Lynne Spears is finally releasing her long unawaited book. Titled Through the Storm: A Real Story of Fame and Family in a Tabloid World, the 272-page book published by Thomas Nelson, is reportedly to be released Sept. 16.

The book was originally supposed to come out in May as a parenting handbook of all things, but after Britney’s breakdown and Jamie-Lynn getting knocked-up, they decided to maybe hold off for a while. Now with Britney getting back on track and Jamie-Lynn giving birth, Lynne is ‘Through the Storm’ a bit herself.

The book has been repositioned as a look through the eyes of a mother raising Hollywood starlets, and how the media distorts everything about their lives. The book supposedly tells how Lynne was an ordinary mother changed by the success of her daughter Britney and how it pushed the family onto the worldwide stage. More like how an ambitious mother pushed her daughter onto the worldwide stage and how the whole family suffered for it, if you ask me. The publisher says the book sheds light on Britney’s breakdown, Jamie Lynn’s pregnancy and the infamous Sam Lutfi. Lynne previously coauthored the novel A Mother’s Gift with Britney in 2001, before all hell broke loose.
