Paul McCartney to propose to Nancy Shevell?

The British tabloid News of the World (reliability comparable to Star Magazine) reports that former Beatle Paul McCartney is thinking about marrying Hamptonite Nancy Shevell. Nancy, 47, is wealthy in her own right and is currently separated from US lawyer Bruce Blakeman. Nancy and Bruce have been separated a long time but her relationship with Paul has supposedly spurred them on to finally dissolve the marriage. Nancy and Bruce also knew the McCartneys for years and were close friends with Paul and first wife Linda before she died from breast cancer, a disease Nancy has overcome herself.
According to several published reports, Paul and Nancy are currently in the middle of a romantical road trip on U.S. Route 66.
An unnamed source said McCartney told his daughter, Stella, that he is considering proposing to Shevell and that she gave her blessing. Supposedly Paul’s not about to rush into anything, but he’s happier than he’s been for years because of Nancy.
