Bernie Mac has passed away
With heavy heart, I am sorry to say Bernie Mac has passed away this morning at the young age of 50. As we reported previously he was in the hospital with pneumonia, but his rep said he was in stable condition and said he would be released in a few days.
However his rep issued the following statement this morning:
“[He] passed away this morning from complications due to pneumonia in a Chicago area hospital. No other details are available at this time. We ask that his family’s privacy continues to be respected.”
He’s survived by his wife Rhonda McCullough, their daughter, Je’Niece, a son-in-law and a granddaughter, Jasmine. Such sadness. He was a really great comedian and performer. My condolences to the family. Bless you Bernie Mac, rest in peace!
