Shia LaBeouf injured in car crash

Shia LaBeouf has badly injured his left hand after he allegedly made an illegal left turn, striking another car which then caused his car to roll.
The accident occurred at 3 AM this morning in Hollywood.
A passenger in Shia’s car sustained minor head injuries and the driver of the other car sustained minor injuries as well.
TMZ reports Shia is in surgery right now to fix his messed up left hand and he also sustained apparently minor injuries to a knee and his head.
Law enforcement says Shia was cited and released on suspicion of a DUI misdemeanor. Apparently there were no breathalyzers or field sobriety tests performed at the scene.
Shia has been having a lot of trouble with the law recently.
- He was arrested last year for ‘loitering’ after allegedly being drunk at a Walgreen’s in Chicago.
- He was busted by police in the Valley for smoking illegally earlier this year.
- And, he was reprimanded again by security guards in D.C., where he was filming at a museum and was caught smoking illegally in the men’s room.
Update: Shia’s lawyer issued a a statement saying: . “Shia is currently recovering from extensive hand surgery with plans to return to work on the set of Transformers 2 within one month.
