Sean Bean arrested on suspicion of domestic assault

Lord of the Rings star Sean Bean was reportedly arrested on suspicion of domestic assault but later released. The actor was questioned by police in London for six hours after his new wife Georgina filed a complaint. She alleges the 49-year-old assaulted her during a fight at their London home. But Georgina, 29, later dropped the assault claim. A police spokesman said:
“Police were called to a residential address. A male was arrested. “He was subsequently informed no further action was being taken against him.”
Georgina told reporters following Bean’s release from custody:
“Everything is OK. Sean and I are at home together enjoying the sunshine. He was arrested. Everything was blown out of proportion. “The police held him quite a while, but Sean is fine and I’m fine. There’s no problem between us.”
The couple wed in February (08). It is Bean’s fourth marriage. The couple previously dated for two apparently turbulent years including a few very public rows. One of which occurred when Bean and Sutcliffe had a hotel room fight, which left both of them bruised and bleeding, after security was called in to break them up. However, they somehow managed to always patch things up.
