‘Screech’ writing tell-all ‘Saved by the Bell’

And just when he was fading from our nightmares, Dustin Diamond whose high-pitched nerdy exploits as Samuel “Screech” Powers on Saved by the Bell is digging for more pop-culture gold. NY Mag’s Vulture reports that Screech is writing a “Saved by the Bell” tell-all called “Behind the Bell.” Sounds like Screech is selling out his Saved By the Bell co-stars big time.
Screech and his ghostwriter, Alan Goldsher, plan to fill the book with stories about “sexual escapades among cast members, drug use, and hardcore partying.”
Dustin played Screech for 13 years. He also had a sex tape and almost lost his house. In 2006 Stuff magazine readers voted Diamond the third most annoying former child actor that they would like to punch in the face. He was “beaten” by former child stars Danny Bonaduce and Corey Feldman.
