Anne Hathaway’s ‘Princess Diaries’ nabbed By the Feds

Is Anne Hathaway being investigated by the Feds? According to the NY Daily News, the FBI has seized the actress’ private journals as part of their on-going investigation of her ex-boyfriend, Raffaello Follieri. The Feds reading your private diaries, seems pretty serious. But apparently the journals were still in Raffaello’s Manhattan bachelor pad and were seized with other items. Is the FBI really reading through those journals and trying to see if Hathaway is implicated in Raffaello’s alleged crimes, is unknown.
Follieri allegedly claimed he was the Chief Financial Officer for the Vatican, and has been charged with 11 counts of fraud and money laundering. He is still behind bars waiting for trial.
Hathaway, has not been charged with any crime, and has cut off all contact with her troubled ex. A friend reveals, “she’s changed her numbers so he can’t reach her. Raffaello has been trying to call her all the time.”Other insiders report that he still wonders whether the actress helped put him behind bars. “He was in Europe, working on a deal. He didn’t have to come back to New York. He knew he was being investigated. But she kept calling him, saying they needed to resolve their future. A few days after his return, he was arrested.”
Last week, prosecutors indicated Follieri was considering a plea deal. Obsevers say: “It’s very fishy, he hasn’t even been indicted yet, and already they’re talking a plea? But he may have no money and the feds may have him so scared that he thinks this is his best shot.”
