Blake Fielder Civil sentenced, Amy Winehouse nowhere in sight
Blake Fielder Civil was sentenced to 27 months in jail today for assault and obstructing justice. Fielder-Civil has already served around nine months on remand. And if Blaaake behaves in prison he could be out in about 4 months.
Blake has admitted beating up pub manager James King in a barroom fight in 2006 and then offering him $400,000 to keep quiet about it.
Passing sentence at Snaresbrook Crown Court, Judge David Radford reportedly told Fielder-Civil he had behaved in a “gratuitous, cowardly and disgraceful” way. Blake’s supposedly devoted wife, Amy Winehouse, missed today’s sentencing.
The 24-year-old singer and Fielder-Civil, 26, married in Miami in May 2007. He was arrested in November and has been in jail ever since. Is Blakes’ further incarceration the best thing that could happen to Amy (whether she knows it or not) or will it lead to a complete meltdown?
The meltdown will probably happen soon, but Winehouse is so much better off with Blaaake locked away!
