Ronnie Wood has entered rehab today, a spokeswoman for the star confirmed. Fears were raised last week for the health of the Rolling Stone guitarist, who had only recently come out of rehab.
Wood reportedly met a Russian cocktail waitress Ekaterina Ivanova, 19, in a bar while he we was allegedly ‘boozed out of his mind’.
Boozed out of his mind indeed as he’s reportedly been drinking two bottles of vodka a day.
Wood fled to a bolt-hole in Ireland with a Russian cocktail waitress.
His spokeswoman said: ‘Following Ronnie’s continued battle with alcohol he has entered a period of rehab.
His son, Jesse, 30, had gone to Ireland to try and talk the guitarist into returning. Wood, 61, flew home yesterday in an apparent bid to save his marriage. Wife Jo, 53, is said to have threatened to end their 23-year marriage.
His close family and friends say he is seeking help and look forward to his recovery.
Good to know it. But only time will tell if he maintains his decision or not.
