Courteney Cox ready to put on her ‘Scrubs’

Courteney Cox has reportedly just signed on to appear in several episodes of the sitcom Scrubs this coming season. It’s a new beginning for Scrubs as they move from their longtime home on NBC to ABC .
Cox is on board for a three-episode arc as Sacred Heart’s new Chief of Medicine, cast in the role of Dr. Kelso’s successor. Her character will “ruffle feathers.”
Courtney needed a new gig after her FX show, Dirt, had been canceled and the rumored Friends movie has fizzled out.
This will be her first comedy role since Friends ended four years ago, which could be just what she needs.
