Pierce Brosnan reveals son Chris now clean!

Former Bond star Pierce Brosnan has been on a publicity for his latest movie, Mamma Mia!. Brosnan has revealed that his stepson Chris has finally beaten his battle with drugs.
Chris, the adopted son of Brosnan’s late wife Cassandra Harris, has checked into rehab multiple times.

Chris was addicted to Vodka, Brandy, and ‘mind-bending’ drugs before friends convinced him that he had a problem, he eventually came to the realization that he needed help.

Pierce’s life was touched by tragedy when his first wife Cassandra died in 1991 of ovarian cancer.

Ten years after her death, a time which saw his career flourish as he took over as 007, he married again, this time to American journalist Keely Shaye Smith.

He had adopted Cassandra’s children Chris, now 35, and Charlotte, 36, and together they had another son Sean, 2 4 .

In Mamma Mia!, Pierce plays one of three men who may – or may not – be the father of Meryl Streep’s teenage daughter. He travels to her Greek island home for her wedding where passions are rekindled with her mom. The storyline is played out against a medley of catchy Abba hits belted out by Brosnan and co. And he says he took the role without realizing how much singing he’d have to do.

“It was the best summer of my life,” he says. “I had the greatest experience and most pleasurable time working with them all.
