Mariah Carey – Nick Cannon marriage is amazing! Or in trouble?

Mariah Carey has been M.I.A. lately, though her ‘assistant husband’ Nick Cannon was in Las Vegas this past weekend, while rumors swirl (naturally) of dissension in the marriage. A Mariah Carey insider tells “News Of The World“, that Nick Cannon is having a hard time adjusting to married life.

The source says: “Things are really bad between them. The honeymoon period was over before it began. Nick’s been surprised at just how demanding his wife is. He feels like her skivvy and moans she has him waiting on her hand and foot. Of course, they met not long before they decided to get married so there were always going to be things they needed to learn about each other. It appears Nick’s learned he doesn’t like her very much.”

Ouch! While the tabloids dig for dirt, People Magazine was on the scene for one of their famous ‘sunshine and apple pie’ interviews to dispel another nasty rumor. (see Madonna divorce rumors for example).

They caught up with Nick at the Las Vegas’s Christian Audigier The Nightclub Friday, as he hosted the “Wild ‘N Out” party. Arriving just before midnight, Cannon quickly made his way to the club’s turntables where he began a two-hour set, spinning hip-hop, techno and rock. He told People that his marriage is “amazing”:

“It’s the best thing that ever happened to me,” Cannon, who was sporting his wedding band!

That was kind of it. Not sure there were any real questions asked by the ‘friendly’ magazine. I would kind of take the Mariah – Nick marriage in trouble rumors with a grain of salt (for now). But I would also take these People Magazine fluff interviews the same way.
