Shannen Doherty in talks to reprise Brenda Walsh role

EW’s Michael Ausiello is reporting that producers have talked to Shannen Doherty about reprising her role as the Queen of Everything, Brenda Walsh in the the “90210″ spin-off.

Sources tell Michael that “she wants to know what the story is going to be first.” Shannen also wants more money. But creative-financial issues may not be the biggest obstacles standing in the way of the anger-management poster gal’s homecoming.  Doherty left a long list of enemies in her wake, among them once and possibly future co-stars Tori Spelling and Jennie Garth.

Jennie Garth, is reportedly okay with Shannen coming back. She said, “A lot of time has passed, and I’m a big girl. I’d have no problem with her coming on the show.”

Lori Loughlin who has been tapped to play “the mom role” as ‘Celia Mills’ on the CW’s upcoming 90210 update, recently said that she doesn’t think Brenda Walsh is coming back to the “90210″ spin-off, because “nobody wants to touch that.” Well, Lori better get ready because Brenda Walsh takes no prisoners.

I miss her too. I am sure she is all set to go to the next level. A lot has changed since when she last appeared for roles.

I’d like to see if she can make it longer than the first time! Before something new gets on her nerves and she takes off, which seems to be her MO for any program she’s on!!
