Madonna’s rep. releases statement pretty much denying everything

Longtime Madonna rep Liz Rosenberg, has finally released a statement denying a few of the latest hot rumors including the divorce rumors.
Liz would not have released a statement without Madonna’s permission and likely encouragement, so this is clearly a message the Material Girl wants to get out to everyone!
The statement sent to People Magazine reads:
“Madonna’s husband Guy arrived in New York last night to be with his wife and family (not in a last ditch attempt to save his marriage which does not need saving). There are no plans for Madonna and Guy to divorce.”
As for the new rumor circulating that Madonna and NY Yankees star Alex Rodriguez are hooking up:
“Madonna and Alex have the same manager, Guy Oseary. They have met. They know each other and Madonna took her kids to a Yankees game last week. There’s really not anything to comment on beyond that.”
It continues, “It’s nothing new that people are airing tons of dirty laundry Madonna’s way lately – much of it untrue.”
I sort of buy the Alex Rodriguez part of the denial, but my gut says and has been saying for a few months that the Guy Ritchie and Madonna divorce rumors are not fictitious! Hope I am wrong but I don’t think so.
Keep in mind this is not the first time the pop star has attempted to keep big news quiet. In 2006, at the height of speculation that Madonna was to adopt a child from Malawi, Rosenberg issued a statement on behalf of the singer vehemently denying the adoption rumours. Less than two weeks after issuing the denial, Madonna and Guy Ritchie filed adoption papers and brought baby David Banda back to the U.K.
What’s going on guys? What’s the reality? I think I should just ignore Madonna stuff for a moment.
