Is this Lindsay Lohan’s sister?

The picture above is Lindsay Lohan’s supposed secret half-sister Ashley Kaufman. InTouch Magazine has the first pictures of 13-year-old Ashley and her mother, Kristi Kaufman. Kristi claims she had an affair with Michael Lohan that produced little Ashley.

Michael fessed up to the affair and the likely-hood of the child being his telling the NYDN last week, “I’ve seen pictures and, to tell the truth, there are similarities with Linds.” But he quickly hedged and recently submitted his DNA for a paternity test (results in 10-12 weeks). He said that if Ashley is his though, he will accept responsibility.

I can’t help feeling little Ashley is caught in the middle of a grown-up battle for money and maybe fame without considering the damage this might do to her.  Right now Ashley doesn’t know who her father is and meanwhile she’s a pawn in this game. This could all have been done without Ashley’s mom letting her appear in a magazine, likely for money.
