Last season Dancing with the Stars’ showmance team Shannon Elizabeth and Derek Hough are still going strong.  The two have only been together for five months, living together and seemingly still going hot and heavy.

Rumor has it that Derek is ready to get married and has already proposed. Shannon though while very happy with the relationship has rejected his proposal! It might be a bit too soon for The American Pie star who is in the midst of divorcing The Perfect Storm’s Joseph Reitman. That’s might hurt the ego a bit but Derek is said to be very persistent and is used to getting his way. So maybe later!

Elizabeth Taylor was reportedly put on a life support machine after suffering congestive heart failure Wednesday evening. That’s if you can believe The National Enquirer. Congestive heart failure is when the heart is too weak to pump blood around the body.

The 76-year-old screen legend was said to have deteriorated after she was initially diagnosed with pneumonia last week, after a bout with the flu.

National Enquirer sources revealed that her children were at her bedside and doctors warned she might not survive. However, her condition is now believed to have improved and she can now breathe unaided.

A source told the tabloid: “The doctors thought they were going to lose her. She’s still very sick, but she’s past the crisis.”

We wish Elizabeth a speedy recovery!!

Update: A statement released by Dick Guttman, her Los Angeles-based publicist, did not say where Taylor was staying, nor did it specify what might have been ailing the 76-year-old actress.

“Ms. Taylor is fine,” the statement read. “Her hospital visit was precautionary. She will be returning home shortly. At present, she is surrounded by family, friends and fabulous jewels.”

Here’s a heart warming story of a golden retriever who is filling in as a mom to 3 tiger cubs. The white tiger cubs were reportedly born Sunday at a zoo in Kansas called The Safari Zoological Park, which specializes in endangered species.

It has leopards, lions, cougars, baboons, ring-tailed lemurs, bears and other animals. It currently has seven white tigers and two orange tigers.

Because white tigers are inbred from the first specimen found more than a half-century ago, they are not as genetically stable as orange tigers.  And apparently the cubs mom is not the motherly type and decided not to nurse the cubs after the first night. The tiger cubs were very hungry, so Isabella the dog stepped in to help. She had just weaned her own puppies, so she was still milk laden. The zoo owner Tom Harvey told AP, “The timing couldn’t have been any better.” He went on to say that Isabella not only feeds but also, but she also licks and cleans  them.

Remember the mystery man dancing with Britney Spears earlier this week? The UK Sun reports that the guy’s name is Lee and he’s a former Israeli soldier that works as a bodyguard for Brit. Some may say he’s guarding ‘the body’ a little to closely. Lee and Brit allegedly have something going. A source said, “He is her perfect type. She loves guys who work out and he is in great shape from his days serving in the Israeli Army. He also has a few tattoos, which she loves. They’ve spent so much time together that one thing led to another and their relationship became physical.”

Well Brit may like guys that workout but she hasn’t exactly been dating them lately?

But Britney does have a habit of dating the hired help. Kevin Federline was originally Brit’s backup dancer, and it’s been downhill from there with an alleged fling with ex-manager Sam Lutfi and even stooped to dating the paparazzi hound Adnan Ghalib.

Update: Brit’s manager has denied the rumor that she’s having an affair with her bodyguard. The bodyguard in question is Brit’s “staff photographer. Larry Rudolph told Access Hollywood, “There is no truth to this at all. Britney is 100% single.”

Cynthia Rodriguez filed for divorce from Alex Rodriguez (A-Rod) earlier this month after news of an alleged affair broke with Madonna. Cynthia said A-Rod “emotionally abandoned his wife and children” and their marriage ended because of his “extramarital affairs and other marital misconduct.” In her petition to the court, Cynthia asked for the $12 million Florida home they share and a big piece of all the cash A-Rod made while they were married. Alex is currently working on a 10-year, $275 million contract with the NY Yankees that makes him baseball’s highest-paid player.
However according to the NYDN, Cynthia agreed to a pre-nup a month before their wedding, and A-Rod of course wants it enforced. In papers that will be filed today in Miami, A-Rod concedes the marriage is “irretrievably broken,” but wants their prenup enforced and for the cheating claims to be stricken from the record. Florida is a no-fault divorce state, so A-Rod doesn’t have to say why their marriage failed.

A-Rod is ready to go to court if Cynthia fights him but he also said that he “has been paying, and will continue to pay … reasonable and bona fide expenses” for their two daughters. He also admits of his wife: “Husband admits and acknowledges that wife is a loving and nurturing mother,” the papers say. “Husband is confident that he and wife will be able to continue to work with one another to co-parent their children together and that they will be able to agree upon a time-sharing schedule … without the need for court intervention.”

Dina Lohan is furious after finding out from TMZ no less that her 14-year-old daughter unwittingly auditioned for a well-known porn director.

On Sunday night’s reality tv episode of “Living Lohan,” young Ali Lohan gave an audition for the movie “Troll.” One of the two men she read for was Peter Davy, an award-winning porn director. TMZ reports that he’s directed such porn hits as “Breast Wishes 14,” “Bun Busters 12″ and “Voodoo Lust.” It should be noted Davy’s film (Troll) is pure mainstream horror and a remake.  The original movie starred Sonny Bono, June Lockhart, Julia Louis-Dreyfus. Ali auditioned for the role of Eunice St. Clair who helps the lead male character fight an evil troll.
Ali’s agent apparently set up the audition and Dina claims she had no idea about Davy’s past. The funny thing is Ali supposedly got the role and while the Lohan family is acting all indignant, they haven’t said she won’t act in the movie or not.
