Mary-Kate Olsen made a guest appearance on The Late Show with David Letterman last night to do some promo work for her new 90’s nostalgic movie The Wackness. She frankly seemed a little out of it at times blaming fatigue. She di talked about various things including her new movie (which involved kissing scenes with Ben Kingsley) to her advice for Young Hollywood to her former schoolmate Spencer Pratt from The Hills. Mary-Kate told David Letterman that Spencer Pratt has a bad temper. “He does not have a good temper. He would walk off the field,” referring to soccer games in High School. Letterman asked her point blank if they were friends at the time and she replied “No”. Mary-Kate seems regretful that she even started talking about Spencer in a negative way in the first place because she remained mum on spilling any further details the more that David Letterman pressed her. Letterman called Pratt “wormy” and “oily”, but Olsen just giggled and said, “The Wackness is a great film!”

Naturally The Hills’s 24-year-old villain wouldn’t let those remarks slip and felt the need to comment back about his former schoolmate. Spencer told Us Weekly:

“I don’t really get why she’d use my name to get press for her little indie film that no one’s going to see. She should probably focus more on not getting dressed in the dark than on me… I know I’ve made it in Hollywood when a famous troll is talking about me on Letterman”. He added, “I forgive her, though. She’s had to go through life as the less cute twin, which must be tough.”

I think Spencer actually believes he’s the big star. He could have taken it graciously and maybe gotten a few sympathy points but he just couldn’t help being himself (a jerk).
