Bill Murray divorce done practically before it started

As we reported here, Bill Murray’s wife of more than 10 years had recently filed for divorce and it looked like it was going to be a very messy split. Jennifer Butler Murray, claimed her actor-comedian husband is an alcoholic, drug addicted man who beat her, cheated on her and abandoned her, as reason for divorce in court papers filed on May 12th in Charleston, South Carolina. Most anticipated lot’s of juicy details to emerge when the case made it to court.
But TMZ has obtained court documents, dating to June 13, granting the two an apparent quickie divorce. Bill Murray’s been ordered to pay child support, and Jennifer will have custody of their four kids kids and gets to keep the house. Good move on Bill’s part to get this wrapped up and not get dragged through the mud any further in court. Hopefully he will stay an active parent in his kids life (if he ever was one)!
