With the huge success of Camp Rock this past weekend Disney is quickly working on a sequel for the next Jonas Brothers TV movie.

Camp Rock first aired on Disney to 8.9 million total viewers Friday night (June 20). A second airing Saturday night on ABC pulled in 3.6 million viewers, while a third airing Sunday on ABC Family averaged a solid 3.7 million viewers.

The Mouse House is hoping to have the same success as with it’s first two High School Musical movies.

With a script currently in development, the sequel for Camp Rock will reportedly aim for a production date in the summer of 2009.

All of the principal cast including Joe, Kevin and Nick Jonas as well as Demi Lovato, are expected to return for the sequel.

Lovato is currently touring with the Brothers this summer and will also launch her own Disney series titled, Welcome to Mollywood.

All this and the brothers are also getting their very own Disney series, titled J.O.N.A.S.
