Family keeps Amy Winehouse in hospital to try to beat her drug addiction

Amy Winehouse remains in the hospital after fainting this past Monday.
Doctors have found she has an irregular heartbeat. Doctors say: “Crack narrows blood vessels and raises pressure. It is toxic to the heart muscle, causing an irregular beat.”
According to The UK Sun the real reason she is still in the hospital is so Amy can dry out. Winehouse’s family plans to keep her in the hospital as long as they can (perhaps weeks) in the hope that she’ll finally beat drugs.
A source said that this might be their one chance to sort her out for good. If Amy tries to flee the hospital, the family plans to go to court to try and keep her in and perhaps have her committed.
