Britney Spears to sell house, buy house and return to Louisiana for a month

Britney Spears‘ dad, Jamie, continues to liquidate his daughters assets in an attempt to clean up her finances. At Tuesday’s conservatorship hearing, the court commissioner granted Jamie permission to sell the singer’s six-bedroom home in Studio City, California (where she was removed in January and placed into a psychiatric hospital). He’s already sold off several of her seven cars and now he is going to put her Studio City house on the market.
According to TMZ, Britney is looking to buy a house in a very exclusive part of Calabasas (former home to Jessica Simpson and Nick Lachey among others) located in the San Fernando Valley, north of L.A.
There are two sets of guard gates keeping Britney Spears’ potential new neighborhood from the paparazzi. The potential move also puts her closer to her young sons and ex-husband Kevin Federline. According to sources “Having more privacy and wide open spaces for her to raise her boys has been a goal for some time.”
Meanwhile Britney Spears is set to fly to her hometown of Kentwood, Louisiana, on Wednesday, for perhaps for a month or more as her pregnant sister Jamie Lynn, 17, prepares to give birth, according to Us Magazine.
