Despite recent fall Mike Wallace recovering well from bypass surgery

Veteran 60 Minutes newsman Mike Wallace, is reportedly recovering well from a recent fall according to his son Chris Wallace, host of Fox News Sunday. Mike’s fall scared doctors who are monitoring his recovery from recent (Jan 08) triple bypass surgery.
Doctors hospitalized him, explained Chris, because he’s on a blood thinner and they wanted to make sure “that he didn’t bleed out.”
Though Mike’s heart “is working just fine” the news legend is done with TV at the age of 90.
Wallace’s son continues with: “His plans are to be healthy enough to go up to Martha’s Vineyard for the summer. And since I spend two weeks with him every year, I said to him, in terms of his rehab, ‘Don’t screw it up, because you’re going to wreck my vacation.’”
The son sounds a lot like the father!
